N.C. Winters is a multidisciplinary artist working out of San Diego, CA. Constantly experimenting and employing an ever expanding variety of tools and techniques to create. Known for illustrating, painting, and sculpting fever dreams and higher visions. His experimentation has produced a unique body of highly detailed, flowing surrealist work. He finds joy exploring the subconscious both as method for creation, and subject. Often with strong emphasis on figure and identity.
N.C. has produced silkscreened print work for Metallica, Primus, Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, The Smashing Pumpkins, Mastodon, and Queens of the Stone Age among others. Working with alternative movie poster publisher Mondo, he created unique limited editions for both Predator and Alien. N.C. has worked with Magic: The Gathering to illustrate original trading cards. His work has been exhibited at various contemporary art galleries and pop-culture conventions around the United States.
